Continuing to meet: memories and experiences of interreligious dialogue
Continuing to meet: memories and experiences of interreligious dialogue
Rimini meeting 2026
Interreligious dialogue begins with an authentic encounter between people who are deeply rooted in their own identities and, through their openness to one another, discover a meaning that speaks both to their own lives and to the wider world. The friendship between Father Luigi Giussani and the Buddhist monk Shodo Habukawa, a prominent figure in Shingon Buddhism, offers a powerful example of this kind of encounter. What can their experience teach us about fostering dialogue between different religious traditions in a world increasingly marked by division and conflict?
